The Initiative “Einfach intuitiv - Usability für den Mittelstand” of the Federal Minister for Economics and Energy tends to improve the usage of information systems and thus the competitive capabilities of SME’s (small and medium-sized Enterprises). The Compentence Center Usabilitiy of the University of Mannheim is developing a human-centric Procedure Model for software development. This Procedure Model will be enhanced through management elements. Additionally, a company network should be used for spreading this model as a learning platform.
