    PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
    SAP Cloud Platform is a major part of SAP’s vision of a Business Technology Platform. The SAP Cloud Platform Discovery Center is the place for customers to start their adoption journey, by discovering pre-defined use cases and running implementation missions.
    You will work on research and prototyping of features and capabilities as extensions to the SAP Cloud Platform Discovery Center

    to help users to find relevant use cases or dynamically build recommendations for Services to use according to their requirements

    a digital assistant concept supporting the user on his mission to realize his use case.

    EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
    You will work as part of the SAP Cloud Platform Experience team to implement digital assistant features and capabilities leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) techniques supporting the customer on her SAP Cloud Platform adoption journey.
    The work will be done in collaboration with the research group “Information Systems & Service Design” (Prof. Dr. Alexander Mädche) at the Institute of Information Systems and Marketing (IISM), Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). Previous research of the research group has already investigated the integration of requirements engineering and artificial intelligence (AI) techniques. The work expected to be done in this job will build on this existing research.
    We are interested in a longer engagement with a student. There might be options for bachelor or master theses, following the student working engagement.

    EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

    • Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences – Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) preferred
    • Preferred fields of study:  Information Systems, Computer Science or related fields
    • Computer skills: Skilled in programming languages, such as Java, JavaScript, Python
    • Language skills: Fluency in English and German language
    • Soft skills: Good communication and interpersonal skills

    Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please describe as well your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
