Project DescriptionSustainable behavior often is not entertaining because it can be linked to personal drawbacks like loss of comfort. Therefore, many people are lacking motivation for changing their behaviors. While new technologies are becoming persistently more ecological, human behavior remains a central factor for successfully promoting sustainability.
In cooperation with Bosch Thermotechnik GmbH in Wernau, a leading manufacturer of heating systems, we identify suitable capabilities for gamification in the environment of sustainable behavior. Furthermore, we encourage the successful implementation of gamified intelligent persuasive systems by the use of empirical methods and the evaluation of prototypes.
