Summary
- The primary goal of the project is to design a fully-automated conversational agent which delivers self-help therapy to treat depression in youth. The therapeutic content will be based on cognitive behavioural therapy and interpersonal therapy. To meet user needs and preferences, we will follow an iterative, human-centered approach.
- The secondary goal is to investigate how to personalize conversational agents (e.g. their content, name or social role) to improve treatment outcomes.
