  • The Journal of Medical Internet Research (JMIR) journal has published a new paper titled “Validity of Chatbot Use for Mental  Health Assessment: Experimental Study” by Anita Schick, Jasper Feine, Stefan Morana, Alexander Maedche, and Ulrich Reininghaus. The article investigates the convergent and discriminant validity of chatbots for mental health assessments, the effect of assessment mode on  socially desirable responding, and the effort required by participants for assessments using chatbots compared with established modes.
