The Karlsruhe Institute for Technology (KIT) and SAP SE build a strategic partnership. Objectives are new insights into digital solutions for economy, science and society through innovative teaching and learning concepts, the collaboration in the area of entrepreneurship as well as common research and innovation projects.

This was announced when the partners signed the agreement in Walldorf on the 22nd of December 2016. A focus of teaching is on student development and consultancy projects based on real-world industry tasks. The common activities in research and innovation focus upon the topics of energy grids, autonomous driving, industry 4.0, big data, cybersecurity, robotics and machine translation.
