Climate change is one of the greatest threats of our time. There is an urgent need for organizations to transform towards sustainable business. Artificial Intelligence technologies embedded into enterprise systems such as ERP or Business Intelligence & Analytics systems offer huge potential to support making businesses more sustainable. However, there is a lack of actionable design knowledge in the field of “AI for Sustainability” in information systems.  

In cooperation with our partner SAP SE and its growth unit Sustainability of the Office of SAP’s CEO, we are offering a doctoral student position in the field of “AI for Sustainability”. In the project we will follow the design science research methodology to deliver tangible solutions for real-world problems.
